ชินยุง – เขาถูกแม่ทอดทิ้งตั้งแต่เด็ก แถมยังต้องมาตายอย่างโดดเดี่ยวทั้งๆ ที่อายุยังไม่ถึง 30 ฉันยอมให้มันเกิดขึ้นไม่ได้ พี่อย่าห้ามฉันเลย ฉันจะอยู่เคียงข้างเขา ไม่มีใครมาแยกเราได้
Shinhyung decided to marry Jaeho, though no one around her agree with her decision. Even Jaeho himself was disagreed. He don’t want her to suffer after his death. But in his heart, he really need her. He have to fight with his fear. Fear that he will hurt Shinhyung again. And fear that he will lose her. If she isn’t by his side, he cannot fight with his illness alone.

ชินยุง – เธอกลัวว่าฉันจะทำใจไม่ได้เมื่อเธอจากไปใช่มั้ย เมื่อเธอจากไปฉันจะอยู่กับความทรงจำของเธอ ฉันจะอยู่กับความทรงจำที่เธอพยายามมีชีวิตอยู่เพื่อฉัน ความทรงจำที่ได้อยู่อย่างมีความสุขกับเธอ
Jaeho : I don’t want to die. I know it’s too much to ask but will you stay by my side? The day will come when it’ll be difficult. You might want to leave to avoid seeing me in pain. But please don’t leave. I can’t do it alone. Help me. I love you.
แจโฮ – ผมยังไม่อยากตาย ผมรู้ว่าอาจขอมากเกินไป แต่คุณจะอยู่เคียงข้างผมได้มั้ย วันนั้นต้องมาถึงแน่ วันที่แสนทุกข์ทรมาน คุณคงอยากทิ้งผมไปเพราะไม่อาจทนดูผมเจ็บปวด แต่ได้โปรดอย่าทิ้งผมไป ผมต่อสู้คนเดียวไม่ไหว ช่วยผมด้วยนะ ผมรักคุณ
Jaeho : I want to live. I can’t give up. I want to be with Shinhyung. I thought love meant that I should spare her from more misery. I want to try my best with the woman I love. She’s foolish. She is happy only by my side.

Haeja : Jaeho…You have to live a long life. You must be with her for a long, long time. Can you promise me?

แฮจา – แจโฮ...เธอต้องอยู่ให้นานๆ นะ ต้องอยู่กับชินยุงให้นานๆ สัญญากับฉันได้มั้ย

When realized that no one can stop Shinhyung, Haeja, Shinhyung’s mother, decided to let them marry. Jaeho promised with everyone that he will do his best for Shinhyung. So Shinhyung and Jaeho married. Even Jaeho try his best but he cannot overcome his illness. He can survived several times only because his love with Shinhyung. But his conditions get worse each day. His eyes cannot see clearly. His ears cannot hear clearly. He know well that his times running out.
เมื่อไม่อาจทัดทานได้ แฮจา แม่ของชินยุงตัดสินใจยอมให้เธอแต่งงานกับแจโฮ แจโฮรับปากกับทุกคนว่าเขาจะพยายามอย่างดีที่สุดเพื่อชินยุง ในที่สุดแจโฮกับชินยุงก็ได้แต่งงานกัน แต่ถึงแจโฮจะพยายามมากเท่าไหร่ ก็ไม่อาจสู้กับโรคร้ายที่รุมเร้าอยู่ได้ เขารอดพ้นความตายมาได้เพราะกำลังใจจากชินยุง แต่สภาพร่างกายของเขากำลังย่ำแย่ลงทุกวัน ดวงตาของเขาเริ่มพร่ามัว หูเริ่มไม่ได้ยินเสียง เขารู้ว่าเวลาของเขาใกล้หมดลงแล้ว
Jaeho : I guess I haven’t got much time now. Tell me, so I can prepare. How much time do I have?
Jang Yun : Not long…about 3 months.
Jaeho : Shinhyung doesn’t know, does she?
Jang Yun : I couldn’t tell her.
Jaeho : Don’t tell her. I’ll do it.
แจโฮ – ผมว่าตอนนี้ผมคงเหลือเวลาไม่มากแล้ว บอกผมมาเถอะ ผมจะได้เตรียมใจ ผมเหลือเวลาอีกแค่ไหน
จางยุน – ไม่นานนัก...ประมาณ 3 เดือน
แจโฮ – ชินยุงยังไม่รู้ใช่มั้ยครับ
จางยุน – ฉันไม่กล้าบอกเธอ
แจโฮ – ไม่ต้องบอกเธอครับ ผมจะบอกเอง
Jang Yun : You’ll have difficult time walking straight. You’ll lose your sense of equilibrium. Your inner ear directly effect your equilibrium. I think your condition is not critical because the cancer hasn’t reach your spine. Some patients cannot sit if it spreads to the spine.
จางยุน – คุณอาจมีปัญหาเรื่องการเดิน คุณจะสูญเสียการทรงตัว หูชั้นในของคุณส่งผลโดยตรงกับการทรงตัว ฉันคิดว่าอาการของคุณยังไม่ถึงขั้นวิกฤต เพราะมะเร็งไม่ได้ลามไปจนถึงกระดูกสันหลัง คนไข้บางคนนั่งไม่ได้ด้วยซ้ำถ้ามะเร็งลามไปถึงกระดูกสันหลัง
When Shinhyung got the news that there is no hope anymore for Jaeho, she cannot get it. She always believe that Jaeho will be better, he can be cured. He can live with her for a very long, long time. She believed in power of her love. But that is impossible. The crucial truth attacked her. Jaeho is going to left her soon.

Jaeho : Are you afraid?
Shinhyung : I shoudn’t be weak. We don’t have much time. You’re handling this well, but I’m such a fool. I don’t seem to be able to keep my composure.
Jaeho : You chose to spend my final moments together. I’m by your side as you wanted. We can touch and talk to each other. Let’s not foolishly waste our time together. Don’t worry, I’ll wake up as if nothing happened and tell you that I love you.
แจโฮ – คุณกลัวใช่มั้ย
ชินยุง – ฉันไม่ควรอ่อนแอ เรามีเวลาเหลือไม่มากแล้ว เธอรับมือกับมันได้ดี แต่ฉันสิกลับทำตัวงี่เง่า ฉันกลับเป็นฝ่ายที่ทำใจไม่ได้

ชินยุง – เขาต้องทนทรมานผ่านไปอีกวัน ทั้งหมดก็เพื่อฉัน...
Shinhyung is watching Jaeho fight bravely with his illness to live with her as long as he can. His ears cannot hear her voice anymore. His eyes cannot see her face anymore. She know by her heart that in this situation she have to gain her strength. Their times nearly run out. Jaeho is fighting for her and she will fight for him as well.
ชินยุงเฝ้ามองแจโฮต่อสู้กับโรคร้ายอย่างกล้าหาญเพื่อยื้อเวลาอยู่กับเธอให้นานที่สุด ตอนนี้หูของแจโฮไม่ได้ยินเสียงของเธออีกแล้ว ดวงตาของเขาก็ไม่อาจมองเห็นใบหน้าของเธอได้อีก เธอรู้ดีว่าในเวลาเช่นนี้เธอต้องเข้มแข็ง เวลาของเขากับเธอใกล้หมดลงเต็มที แจโฮต่อสู้เพื่อเธอ เธอก็จะต่อสู้เพื่อเขาเช่นกัน
Byung Kook : Love and marriage doesn’t mean you’ll only experience comfort and happiness. You’ll also experience pain and agony which are crucial parts of love and marriage. Life can’t always be good. I think you and Jaeho are leading a proper life because you’re not giving up during the tough times. You don’t doubt your love for each other.
ยุงกุ๊ก – ความรักและการแต่งงานไม่ได้หมายถึงการพบความสุขเพียงแค่นั้น ลูกยังต้องเผชิญกับความทุกข์ทรมานด้วย ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่โหดร้ายที่สุดในชีวิตรักและการแต่งงาน ชีวิตมันไม่ดีเสมอไปหรอกนะ พ่อคิดว่าลูกกับแจโฮใช้ชีวิตอย่างถูกต้องดีแล้ว เพราะพวกลูกไม่ยอมแพ้ในเวลาที่ลำบากที่สุด ลูกไม่เคยลังเลในความรักที่มีให้แก่กัน
Jaeho : I wish I could see your face.
Shinhyung : I’m happy that we’re together holding hands.
Jaeho : I think God loves me a lot. He taught me a lot. I never knew that seeing your face and hearing your voice could be so precious. You know that I love you very much, don’t you?
Shinhyung : I know.
Jaeho : That’s all I need to know. I want to sleep. I want to see you in my dream and hear your voice. I’m tired, I want to sleep.

แจโฮ – ผมอยากมองเห็นหน้าของคุณจัง
ชินยุง – ฉันมีความสุขแล้วที่เราได้จับมือกันไว้แบบนี้
แจโฮ – ผมคิดว่าพระเจ้าต้องรักผมมากแน่ๆ ทรงสอนผมตั้งมากมาย ผมไม่เคยรู้มาก่อนเลยว่า การได้เห็นหน้าของคุณ ได้ยินเสียงคุณ มันจะมีค่ามากมายขนาดนี้ คุณรู้ใช่มั้ยว่าผมรักคุณมาก
ชินยุง – ฉันรู้จ้ะ
แจโฮ – ผมอยากรู้แค่นั้นแหละ ผมอยากหลับแล้ว ผมอยากเห็นหน้าคุณในความฝัน อยากได้ยินเสียงของคุณ ผมเหนื่อยจัง ผมอยากหลับแล้ว
ชินยุง – งั้นเจอกันพรุ่งนี้เช้านะ
แจโฮ – เจอกันพรุ่งนี้เช้าจ้ะ
Shinhyung cannot sleep, she staring his peaceful face as if he is in a nice sweet dream. His face looks peaceful and happy. No pains can hurt him anymore.
ชินยุงไม่อาจหลับตาลงได้ เธอเฝ้ามองใบหน้าของแจโฮที่หลับอย่างสงบพร้อมรอยยิ้มน้อยๆ บนใบหน้า ใบหน้านั้นเหมือนกำลังมีความสุขอยู่ในความฝันของเขา ใบหน้าของเขาดูสงบนิ่งและมีความสุข ไม่มีความเจ็บปวดใดๆ มาทำร้ายเขาได้อีกต่อไป
Shinhyung : It’s past 10.00 in the morning. Jaeho not getting up. But I won’t wake him. I pray he’ll wake up in a much better place. I won’t wake him.
ชินยุง – สิบโมงเช้าแล้ว แต่แจโฮยังไม่ตื่น ฉันจะไม่ปลุกเขาหรอก ฉันภาวนาให้เขาตื่นขึ้นมาในที่ๆ ดีกว่านี้ ฉันจะไม่ปลุกเขาอีกแล้ว...
